Who We Are

 

Found 99 comes from Matthew 18:12–14, the parable of the lost sheep.

​

A shepherd leaves the 99 on the hillside to go after the one that went astray. And when he finds that one, he rejoices more over it than the 99 that never wandered. In the same way, it is not the will of our Father in heaven that even one be lost.

​

Found 99 is built on that idea—that every single person matters. The one who feels overlooked, forgotten, or far from God is worth going after.

Our Founding

 

For over 20 years, I lived a life that was contrary to the teachings of Jesus Christ. I went astray in a lot of ways, and even in the middle of it, I knew it. I would ask, “Why, Lord? Why do I keep doing this? Why do I keep letting You down?”

​

But even in my arrogance, my pride, and my mistakes—He never left me. He never gave up on me.

​

In 2023, Ann and I went to church one Sunday, and something changed. I felt the Spirit stir in me in a way I had never experienced before—and it’s only grown stronger since.

​

Looking back, I can see that even when I was far from Him, He was still pursuing me—just like the one.

​

Our Purpose

 

I’ve always loved to cook—but more than that, I’ve always loved cooking for people. There’s something about preparing a meal and watching someone truly enjoy it. It brings people together. It opens the door.

​

Found 99 is about using that gift to serve others and glorify God.

Through pop-up meals and community partnerships, the goal is simple:

​

• feed people

• spend time with them

• and share the love of Jesus in a real and tangible way​

 

One plate at a time.

We want people to know that God doesn’t give up on them. That even in pain, in failure, or in the lowest moments—He is still there. And the more you lean on Him, the more you begin to see His love and grace in every part of your life.
